Full View- Why Not?

Just something I've been wondering--
For what reason would anyone not always full view deviations?

I always see artists reminding viewers to full view their works, but I can't imagine a reason for not just setting your DA preferences to default to full view. You can't properly appreciate any image by viewing the crappy small view. And considering the viewer has made their way to the page, there's no need for another preview- chances are they've already seen the thumbnail image. So why does this thing exist? Somebody... please enlighten me :D

So yes... yesterday I took about 280 photos of the glorious spring emerging all around us...
Today I continued that trend and took about 400 more.
By the time I get the highlights of both of these bunches up here, it's gonna be a different year o_O I still having lots of camping shots that could go up.. haha

So yes, expect a steady flow of photos for quite a while from me :aww:

Oh and for the record, let me just say that Rochester weather is fricken crazy.
Last week it kept getting in the 90s. This week it's staying in the 50s. Today we had SNOW. On April 30th.
Within 3 hours it was vastly warmer, and I went out and took my springtime pics....
Now it's getting cold again.
...This weekend is supposed to be in the 70s...
This is a crazy crazy place :)

Spring has finally really hit the plants of the town!
...Which is interesting, because we had summer weather all last week, and now it's fricken cold :P
But no bother! Because I've been going out with my trusty Nikon, and there should be a steady stream of sexy Springtime photos for a while :)

2 RIDICULOUSLY cool things happening today.

1) SEEING ANI DIFRANCO LIVE IN CONCERT!!!!11!!1!!!! (Sorry, couldn't resists the lure of excessive exclamation points and ones :aww:) Going to be AMAZING. Going with my cousin Kim and my mum (who has absolutely no idea who Ani is, but wanted to go after Kim's raving about Ani being the most brilliant lyricist of our time :P) We'll probably eat at some cool Mexican place which also has live entertainment as well.. I'm friggen pumped.

2) Just found the COOLEST Firefox extension application in the history of the universe (I think it works in Safari as well, for you mac-nutters that decided against firefox ;)) It's called PicLens, and it's an alternate way to view large quantities of images on sites such as google, yahoo, facebook, deviantart, blah blah blah. Go here: [link] (or to the equivalent for your browser/OS) Watch some previews, look at some images... whatever. Just know that it is fucking brilliant, and I don't know how I've survived this long in life without it.
For those of you barbarians still using archaic old IE7 (or even worse.. 6! Or even worse.. 5- (I WILL shun you if this is the case)... and yes, I'm look at you, april :aww:)... this might just be what pushes you over the edge to get a real browser :P INCREDIBLE.

I am done now. Ta :)

My B-day's coming on the 18th, and what do I want?
Well... aside from copious quantities of CDs and cash...

I want to paint the basement green so it can be used for photo shoots or something :D
The good news is my mum already wanted to paint the basement... I don't know if vivid green or blue was what she had in mind... but we'll see how it goes :giggle:

Just got ( ) by Sigur Rós and OK Computer by Radiohead yesterday... they kick more ass than anything should.
